Good afternoon Good Shepherd Families,

In accordance with current protocols and procedures enacted by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Lexington, Kentucky, Bishop John Stowe, OFM Conv. has extended the mask mandate through Fall Break, October 8^th, for all students and staff in schools within the diocese. All Kindergarten through 12th grade students and school personnel, whether vaccinated or not, are to be masked while at school.  The Kentucky Department of Childcare continues to operate under an Emergency Statement issued by the Kentucky Department of Public Health requiring students 2 years and older, in licensed childcare facilities, to continue wearing masks.  As a licensed facility, our Pre-K students will also be required to continue wearing masks while at school.      

These situations will be monitored closely for changes to the diocesan policies and/or emergency orders and communicated accordingly. We continue to pray for the health and safety of everyone involved in our school, parish, diocese, and beyond.
