GSCS competes in Governor's Cup competitions at the elementary (gr. 4-5) and middle school (gr. 6-8) levels.  This year GSCS also has a team competing in the Sixth Grade Showcase. Click here for more info about the Governor's Cup program and the Kentucky Association for Academic Competition.  

Ms. Alyssa Hensley coaches the middle school team which usually meets on Mondays after school for practice.  Ms. Stephanie Sims coaches the elementary team which usually meets on Tuesdays after school for practice.  Click here to check the school calendar for all dates and times.  Mrs. Abigail Unuakhalu coaches the showcase team which usually meets on Thursdays from 3:30--5:00pm.
