January 24th/25th Saturday and Sunday Masses

Good Shepherd students wearing their uniforms to Mass will receive a dress-down pass from the teacher attending the Mass. We will need students to hand out a bookmark (bookmarks will be provided) to parishioners as they enter the church for Mass. Teachers on duty will be: Mrs. Schmidt- Saturday 5PM Mass/ Ms. Palmer-Ball- Sunday 8:30 AM Mass/ Ms. Anderson- Sunday 10:30 AM Mass/ Mrs. Jones - Sunday 4PM Mass

Sunday, January 25th- GSS Student Bowling Party at Capital Bowling Alley in Frankfort- 6-8PM-Sponsored by PTO. The concession stand will be open for those wishing to purchase snacks and beverages. ONLY bowling will be paid for by PTO.

January 26th Monday-Parent Appreciation Day!

We will have a Special Treat for our Parents at morning drop-off.

Classes will be working on making, folding, and packing fleece scarves for handout at the Soup Kitchen and St. Vincent de Paul. Thank you for your fleece donations for this worthy project.

Current and Prospective Pre-School Families Party – 2:45-3:45 PM. Please spread the word to any parents you may know interested in our pre-school program!!

January 27th Tuesday- Community Service Day

Mega-Mass at Christ the King Cathedral in Lexington, Kentucky- Middle School students will be attending the Mass and having lunch afterwards!

Thank You gifts for our volunteers for pick up in the school office.

January 28th Wednesday-Faculty and Staff Appreciation Day

Appreciation Luncheon for our Faculty and Staff-sponsored by Kentucky Gardener!

January 29th Thursday-Parish/ Pastor Appreciation Day & All School Open House - Middle School Science Fair- Faculty Sponsored Chili Supper

Come and join us for an All School Mass. Each class will have their class banner on display. Father Charles and the Deacons will be recognized along with our Parish Staff. Winners of the Energy Conservation Essay and Poster Contests will be announced.

Be Our Guest!! Be Our Guest!! CHILI SUPPER: Service starts at 4:30 to 5:45PM sharp in the Parish Life Center! Let the faculty serve you supper!! Cost is by donation only! Dessert and beverage will also be served! Please invite our Good Shepherd Alumni! We would love to see them!!

6PM to 7PM- All School Open House and Middle School Science Fair Classrooms will not be open until 6PM (Remember the faculty is serving the chili supper!!!! Come check it out!) Middle School Science Projects will be on display. Don’t miss the opportunity to visit your student’s classroom and see their wonderful work!!

January 30th Friday- STUDENT APPRECIATION and GSS SPIRIT DAY!!!

A special treat for our Bodacious students! Just DON’T be thinking about missing that day!! Dress down jeans day for students and faculty. Show your spirit for GSS!! All dress MUST be appropriate. Second Quarter Awards Ceremony- 12:45PM in the GSS Gymnasium. Parents are invited.

VOLLEYBALL GAME between the faculty and the CLASS OF 2015 will follow the awards ceremony!!
