KUNA will meet on the 1 ^st, 3 ^rd, 4 ^th & 5 ^th Tuesdays of the month after school from 2:30 – 3:30 PM.  This schedule will begin with the end of KYA and end with the KUNA Conference which is scheduled for March 18-20, 2018.  The conference will be held at the Crowne Plaza in Louisville and the cost is approximately $250.  The cost of the conference is approximately $250.  Scholarships are offered through the Y and some aid is available from the school KUNA account.  KUNA gives students the opportunity to study the history and culture of the countries they represent.  Students will also create Global Village booths, placards, costumes and International Stage Presentations for the conference.  Students can prepare and present proposals, debate in the Security Council or in Summits.  Students may run for office or serve as clerks, door keepers, media corps and can run for leadership team.  KUNA is a lot of work and requires everyone’s effort, but can be highly rewarding and a lot of fun.  Open to grades 5-8 & $250 Fee.
