Middle School SS Newsletter and Activities
Geography (6th Grade) – We will begin and finish a unit on Southeast Asia this week. We will examine the physical features and the political borders and nations of the region – vast and culturally diverse, the region is marked by years of colonialism and war. Our exam will be Friday. Parent / Teacher Conferences are Thursday.
World History (7th Grade) - This week we move from India to China. We review on Tuesday and have an exam on Wednesday. China is rich in history and the geography is a very important area to understand – particularly as the mountains and sea surround and isolate China from the rest of the world which is a major reason their culture is so distinct from others. Parent / Teacher Conferences are Thursday. Have a grand week!
US History (8th Grade) - We will finish the material on the American Revolution this week. Monday through Wednesday you will present timeline tiles. Friday will be the review and next Monday the exam. Thursday is Parent / Teacher Conferences and report cards will go home as well. Have a grand week!
