Geography - We will go to Japan and the Koreas next. There is lots of geography, history and culture to find in the area. Friday we will have 5 more Landmark presentations and we will play the “Where in the World is” game to work on location skills. Remember to have homework sheets signed for bonus points and that you can find copies of study guides and homework sheets on my page of the school website.
World History - This week we will look at the Ancient Hebrews, a history we should be a bit familiar with. The video clips chosen for the week will enrich different areas pf the topic. The week will end with a look at Holidays and Observances that have been around for thousands of years. After this unit, we will be moving to Ancient Greece and the Annual Greek Gods play.
US History - This week we will get into the nuts and bolts of our American Government and the Constitution. This may be our most important unit as we will look at our rights and responsibilities as US citizens. How important is it to understand our place in government and what rights we have and the responsibilities we have as Americans? Answer = very!
